Based on what I've seen so far....yes. I mean, lots of black people, including black women are siding with the males because they are black and the girl was white. That's it.
And what happens when the unnamed juvenile turns out to be white?

Internet sleuths have determined the 17 year old to be Desmond Carter, a football player at Walker High School with a nickname of Dezz. I would like if something like a police report could be leaked, but that's the best info we have
I don't think that there are too many white guys walking around called Dezz. Or with the name Desmond. Just like there aren't many whites named Kaivon. Those names typically indicate black men. Names like John or James could be anyone.
Now, as far as the reaction of blacks that we have seen so far? I doubt it would change because the other accused is still black, so they are still siding with him.

Can you post images from the 'inside the vehicle' video?
There were brief shots of the perps as well but I'm not sure if we were able to make out the two in the back.

Some of you are getting really weird in this thread

Why is the right corner of the screen blurred out?
Casen also has the hoodie all the way up to cover up his face (?), which seems like odd behavior.
Was the video made with the purpose of showing Madison was 'okay' as she exited the vehicle?
In the shot where we see Casen covered can make out a Toyota emblem on the steering wheel. But you also can see out the front window.
Possible to determine the locaiton of the drop based on that shot? I see a vehicle driving by at a high rate of speed. Unlikely that video was made inside the subdivision. Remember, it's 3 a.m. Likely it was done close to Burbank and we are seeing Burbank out the front windshield.

Clip,
Read my post above and re-watch the video.
Edit to add:
1:23 into the video you see a vehicle drive past the group at a high rate of speed a few hundred yards outside the windshield.
That does NOT look like she was dropped off inside the residential neighborhood (Pelican Lakes) but close to Burbank.
The family attorney said Madison was run over "seconds" after being dropped off. The boys tried to claim she had a 'friend' who lived in Pelican Lakes so that is why they were there.
Here's the video (within the story):
1. Seen at 50 seconds: K. Washington (defendant) and it appears to be his phone. He is wearing a black had but you can see the bleach blonde tips as in mugshot.
He also appears to be saying something but a pro lip reader would have to make that out. We don't have one of those.
2. Seen at 57 seconds: perp #2 - black male wearing a black and white/stripe plaid shirt - face clearly visible. He has a light blue. He steps out of the vehicle.
3. The audio is out of synch with the video and not sure if WBRZ did this or the defense lawyers or defendants. There's no reduction in sound level as Madison looks away and the "Uber" comment is made.
4. It appears Casen was intentionally hiding his identify. Remember, when first located (I can't recall which of the 4 it was) they denied having ever met Madison until confronted with the video from inside Reggie's.
5. At 1:22 - as Madison exits the vehicle it is blurred (and this may be why) she appears to be pulling up her pants.
6. You can make out the Toyota crest on the steering wheel and see out of the front windshield at 1:24.
Can anyone identify the precise location Madison was dropped off here? I think that may be Burbank about 100 yards away, which goes back to the "seconds" comment from the family attorney.
The closer Madison is to a speedy roadway = more likely the manslaughter/negligent homicide come into play.
And all this evidence provided by the "defense" lawyers!

So in the first clip, the “juvenile” lets her out on the passenger side. In the second clip, the “juvenile” lets her out on the drivers side and immediately gets back in.
Also, I wonder what Kaivon is saying in the video. Conveniently cut out his audio.

As I said, we need a lip reader. Perhaps a deaf TD member can help us?
GREAT POINT about the drivers side and passenger side. Two locations for the video?
Casen is hiding his face. Hmmm. That something someone who thinks they are acting properly or legally does?

At 1:24 of the video it looks like a truck is driving by at 50-60 mph and there is a building with a white or metal top visible through the windshield on the left side.
Anyone recognize the building? From that building we can tell exactly where Madison was dropped off.

I take your point, but hoodies are a Gen Z thing. But some of the possibilities that come to mind: 1) guilt as you point out 2) his homies were clowning on him and he didn’t want to be identified 3) we don’t have context for what’s being said 4) disbelief at what just happened in his truck

would seem so as African-Americans, especially women, seem 70-80% against conviction when this first came out and the Reggie's video was shown on local media.
What???… no Black woman I’ve talk to have taken the side of the perps… you referring to people off social media who not going to be nowhere near being on a jury

If the dirt bag "investigative reporter" was doing his job he would've reported the times from the snippets.
Looks to me like he's just carrying the water for the defense.

Nak wanted this and other 'exclusives' so it was a win for him.
He did attempt a bit of balance in the story by mentioning her .319 BAC.
Re: Casen in the hoodie. I think he knew it was wrong and didn't think he could be identified later. But the contrary theory above may be correct.
They filmed it AND their lawyers handed this over to the public. Amazing.

Good point. The defense lawyers say "car" in the story as does Nak.
The affidavit only says "vehicle."
I'd assumed truck or SUV but the story says "car" so...
But back to where she was dropped off. Can anyone drive out there and report back? What's the building with the white roof?
From google 'street view' it might be the bar and grill past Pelican Lake. Area across from Pelican Lake looks undeveloped.

Maybe for his career. But it also cast doubts over any claim to objectivity.
The BAC was already well known from the affidavit. OTOH, the times of the clips, which he could have readily obtained, would be new info.

I don’t. Just assuming a travel ball baw from Walker is driving a truck.

I did the same thing but the defense lawyers say "car" as does Nak in the posted video.
It might have been his mother's car. Looks bigger inside than a Carola.
Mom's Camry? Yuck!
