What difference does that make? Would it matter if they dumped her out in I10? She still lost her Life as a result of their actions.

I think it could make a big difference.

Dropping her off in a subdivision, where it is presumably lighted, 20mph streets and maybe possibly where she lived, or had friends, is a very different scenario, practically and perceptively, than dropping her off on the side of a dark road where people travel 60 mph.

ETA:, I’m tend to look at these things as how they will progress through prosecution and trial. This kind of stuff gets picked apart with a fine tooth comb and it does 100% make a big difference how the scenario played out and what that means as potential outcomes for the different defendants.

Lets hope her parents are kept far away from the likes of this message board. So many lives destroyed that night. As a parent, with a kid at LSU, I couldn't sleep last night

This was alleged night of in the original thread. I think the pertain who said it was a conspiracy was down voted heavily. But this was mentioned.

It’s not trolling to say we will never get her side of things and all we have to go on is what’s in the affidavit. It’s also not trolling to ask where her friends were that night and why she was left with no ride. And these guys are bad people and she was definitely way too drunk. But that doesn’t mean it’s the whole story and the only lesson learned here is to stop underage drinking.

When i was 17 at LSU. I went to Reggies to drink too. It was called Sports then. But Freds was for upper class and Reggies/sports for freshman.

LSU is going to have a serious image problem

Oh Louisiana as a whole already has a serious image problem. This will be the first time ever that our company’s offices in other parts of the country do not send people to Mardi Gras due to excessive crime and worry in New Orleans. These are people from New York, Baltimore, Chicago. Places that have serious crime, yet New Orleans was their dealbreaker. This State is crashing and burning at an unprecedented pace.

If the bars enforced dress codes and kept trash out this story never happens. Also if the past admin at LSU didn’t hate Greek life and try to ban it then there would be more house parties which have pretty controlled entrance and this shite doesn’t happen.

A lot of blame to go around and all 4 of these thugs should be shot and tossed in the river.

I do 100% blame her friends. Whomever she went to the bar with that night has blood on their hands too.

Besides consenting to sex, what does the blood alcohol level above 0.03 absolve a person of? Let’s say a person is coerced into committing a crime such as burglary or robbery with a blood alcohol level of 0.038. Is that person off the hook?

They tried dress codes while I was there. 2002-05. They were called Racist and the Reville had constant stories about them.
I remember on my 22nd birthday. I couldn't get into Fred's because I had on all white shoes. Then I couldn't get into Reggies because my pants were too baggy. I remember making fun of the fat arse bouncer in skinny jeans. Saying "I don't want to look like fatass top toothpick legs here"
Then I got into Stadium club and all was good. But in hindsight. Dress codes were good for keeping out ghetto types and Kenna brahs.

You think those guys get into Reggie’s if they had a dress code?

Exactly dress codes work in cleaning out a bar of trash. They always do and you always have people screaming about them.

If the guys weren’t at the bar because they couldn’t get in the girl is alive today

Some real truths to this statement. Kept me up all night. I have a student at LSU currently. More than a few errors of judgement have been made thus far. All of which were (by the grace of God) survived.
