Have you seen and read all the reports and videos available to the public yet?

According to EBRSO, Brooks was standing in the middle of the road for unknown reasons just before she was hit by a vehicle. She was alone at the time, investigators said.

What’s your point?

No point, just helping him out with some info he asked for.

He was sourcing the claim that Madi was standing in the road. Others were questioning.
In the bigger picture it's a pretty big piece of evidence she wasn't near her right mind when offloaded.

She must have been in and out of consciousness because one of the idiots even stated when asked something in the truck they said she was hunched over and didn`t answer. It`s amazing how she could stand. They may have dropped her off right there in the road for all we know now. The only witnesses so far are the 4 idiots as for her drop off location.

My son is at a political fundraiser this evening in BR and I was doing a quick self education of LA courts, their hierarchy, districts, divisions, etc... to better understand the candidate he is supporting. Should this case go to court (and I know I'm way out over my skis) it appears that the 19th district courts, which cover EBRP, have three sections. If the alleged rapes occured on Reggies property, they would be section 3, a fairly conservative judge previously. However directly across the street at Jennifer Jean is section 1 courts, who at first glance appear to be more politically liberal judges. Two questions to satisfy my own curiosity: 1) How impactful might a judges personal politics be on a court case such as this (I know they are supposed to be impartial, yada yada) and 2) when multiple crimes occur across the section boundaries, which courts take them up?
I hope this doesn't make me sound ignorant. I got my JD the same place I got my MD, Google University.

I read that too, somewhere. But I take it more loosely.. like "I hit a traffic cone, it was right in the middle of the street" which could mean it was literally in the lane OR it could mean it was laying somewhere on paved territory that it didn't belong. I, personally, don't necessarily take middle of the street to be the literal middle of the street. It is an answerable question, but not yet with the info we have been given.

Who are you? And how did you get access to hyper progressive tarzana’s account?

Very little. The judge controls the courtroom, makes evidentiary rulings, and provides the jury charge.
The jury finds the facts.

I think venue is in the parish in which all elements of the crime are complete.
Generally in the 19th, the newest judges take criminal. Judge Kelley is retiring, and I think there is an upcoming election for his seat. Whoever wins that will be one of the new criminal judges, I think.

But the defense attorneys are filing to kick out the entire case they said in the press conference.
So that's a decision for the Judge to make.
Will the defense try to bump this Judge? Daily Mail's 'expert' said his comments showed lack of impartiality at the bond hearing.
Politics will play a part. Juries pick up on the attitude of the Judge. Judges can deny objections and berate lawyers they don't like. Should they? No, but it happens.
Rittenhouse case had the judge (away from the jury) blast the prosecutor for his actions.
Judges are like NFL refs. There are 3 or 4 key moments where they can tip things - if they're so inclined - in one direction or the other. At least, that's what I see on the TV trials.

I am politely asking you to stop your trifling, rambling bullshite. You are contributing nothing of value.
Just knock it off.

Agree.
Yea that took all of about 12 hours earlier today. Just feels like a scumbag reporter fishing for anything

Holden,
I'm checking out of this thread until there are further developments (the 3rd arrest or new news).

I disagree. My points have been accurate and we've made advances on this case far beyond TD.
I have the right to free speech here - for now - and will exercise it.
If you are related to the perps or their friends, you need to tell them to cooperate - sooner rather than later.
You are free to ignore our posts as I will yours.
Have a great night.

Easy, chief. That is between the accused and their lawyers.

That is very helpful. Thank you for explaining to a layperson. How interesting that the newest judge takes criminal cases as to my way of thinking these are the most important (life or death wise, anyways) Seems like they should go to the most seasoned. Perhaps I need to dust off my John Grisham, cough, I mean law books.

Especially in emotionally-divisive things like this. I’m not one to pick a side early. I want to know more.
Life is not always as black and white as news articles make them appear
Honestly I don’t give a F about the victim, or the defendants, but if I’m on the jury I want to know as much as possible before deciding. And while I’m not - yet - on the jury, I definitely haven’t decided in my own mind.
If I am ever on trial. I want you to be part of the jury.
