Not frat but sororities do this. It’s not some written rule but I know my kids group kinda has this when they go out. I assume they aren’t they only group that does this.

I've never heard of that rule either. Maybe back when they were trying to have a designated driver, but now I think a majority just get an uber or lyft so everyone drinks. There's no chaperone.
