Sorry, hear pedo and law enforcement and I think of Ard and his lack of defense for accountability for enabling them over the years.
There will people on TD who defend Ard and don't realize they are protecting a pedo defender. It is sickening. They give Ard the benefit of the doubt for some reason. Will probably vote for him again.

I'd argue the good cops help the reputation of a lot of bad cops.
Seriously, they are a lot of good cops who truly take their job serious and does it for the right reasons, but its a position of power. It either attracts people who want that power or it turns people into something they were not going into it.
There is a gang mentality of sorts.
In this case, this sounds like the stereotypical LP type situation.
