Another casino!
Can you imagine the hulking monstrosities that will be left after Texas legalizes gambling? It will be like an abandoned nightmare.

Exactly, this town will never amount to anything.

I know LC residents might not like to hear this, but Laura did a great deal of good for that downtown long-term. There is a lot of opportunity now.
Tell that to the firm who next week will see their downtown building go through sheriffs sale for $2.3 million

No. That's a mile or so south past this one on the West side of Ryan St. It's a historic building and you can rent out the bottom floor and courtyard for events

Oh my bad. I thought you were asking about the foreclosure building I posted about.
Yes it was originally called the CM tower because Calcasieu Marine National Bank built it.

Yes it was originally called the CM tower because Calcasieu Marine National Bank built it.
Then the oil bust of the mid-1980's hit. Hibernia Bank out of New Orleans bought CM.
Then Capital One bought Hibernia in the early 2000's.

Don’t forget about facilities in Sulphur.
That is a lot of fields for such a small population.

They are in the process of wrecking the partitions to remove them ahead of demo.

On a lighter note- when we were in the buccaneers, there may or may not have been a few sets removed from north side of the Westlake end and made into memorial plaques for those who served as Jean LaFitte.
Also, I do want to attend the demolition.
