The other night she picked up our son by just scooping him up under his butt and picking him up only to say, you're right he is getting heavy (something I say for his amusement).
So I scooped her and him up at the same time. Looked at me like an alien... Still don't think she really realizes.

Absolutely. She’s lucky he was nice and didn’t bounce her head off the pavement. He went out of his way to hold her head/back from bouncing off the ground as he was tossing her.

That was relatively tame response. Even controlled her on way down to the floor to protect her. Basically just put boundaries on her like the tweet stated.

A lot of domestic abuse starts this way. Happened to a buddy who married a mean alcoholic bitch. She was often verbally abusive and one night she spit on him and started swinging and he dropped her arse and he ended up in jail on felony charges because kids were in the home at the time. The charges eventually were lowered to a misdemeanor thankfully. They're not together anymore
