Why are losers constantly on their laptops and phones ? Can't people just dress up and enjoy flying through the air at high speed ? He deserves nothing except to be laughed at for having to be on a laptop constantly.

Flying is a pain not because of the expense, delayed flights, lost luggage, etc.. It's because everyone else looses their damn mind when flying and become incredibly inconsiderate.
It's amazing how people will either become stupid, incredibly rude, or both the minute they step foot in an airport terminal.
I'm glad I don't fly as often as I used to. In fact, I may have to go to Houston in the next couple months. Everyone's like "hey it's only an hour flight". Yeah, I'd rather drive for five hours. If I can avoid flying, I will every time.

This almost happened to me. Saw it coming and was able to move the screen. If I hadn't noticed, the seat would've crushed my laptop easily.
Fact is, there isn't enough room to work with a laptop anymore. Not in economy. The airlines have reduced the pitch so much that you just can't do it. They have created tons of tension and drama by putting humans in shitty situations. They are setting everybody up to fail, and then telling us it is our fault. frick the airlines. Flying used to be fun, but they killed it.

Why does the world need to know he has a MacBook and it got broken on a flight?
This should end all discussion. Social media has created attention whore monsters and given them an audience.

Non-reclining seats are coming. They are being phased in and reclining seats are being phased out.
In the meantime, nobody should recline unless sleeping on an overnight flight. Period. Anyone who says different is WAY behind the times and doesn't fly very much.
But, ultimately, it is a moot point. Recliners will be gone on all non-overnight flights within a few years.

You’re hurtling through the upper atmosphere at 600 mph in a metallic tube that has a thin skin. You go places and see things that most all your forebears never saw or in their craziest dreams ever thought they’d see and if so, it would take them weeks or months to get there. Enjoy the ride. Look out the window, if you can and just think about the concept and where you at that moment, are.

Economy seats should just stay in the reclined position. It's basically the same as not reclined anyway.

It’s far too dangerous to have your seat reclined 4 inches during takeoff and landing.
The flight attendant tells me so.

After flying a hundred times the magic is gone. All that's left are the annoying things. When I get on a plane I just want to get to where I'm going. Multiple double bloody marys seems to do the trick.
