It’s really not bad debris wise... large debris I mean. Lots and lots of water, though. It feels strange to say, but we kind of dodged a bullet? Lol I mean it could have been worse with the damage that was previously there from Laura’s bitch arse

Looks like my parents only lost 2 trees this time (they lost 200+ during Laura), so definitely somewhat dodged another bullet.

Reporting from deep in the northern ‘Sip. Getting what I’d guesstimate as 10mph sustained, gusts approaching 25mph.

But seriously I’m at our hunting land and was last night as well. Have almost zero service, but I had enough to at least follow the thread last night (but not enough to watch videos). Is anyone working on a highlight video of gremlin man? The comments here alone had me in tears. I hope someone is doing the lords work. And for all of you that are having to deal with shitty things from the storm my heart goes out to you.

South Walker here, patio got ripped off the back of our house, flew over our roof, over our neighbors shed and landed in their yard against their patio, minimal damage to their patio compared to what could have been really bad damage.

Oddly enough other items in our yard are exactly where we left them.

Most everyone in Lafayette is without power. I haven’t seen the traffic light that was on yet.

That's encouraging. My area doesn't have running water apparently. Another reason I'm not going to rush home today. I'll let things play out then at least a day.

I saw surge in Delcambre but not nearly what was there from Rita. They are all breathing a sigh of relief. Mom wanted a new roof anyway before the storm happened.

The traffic light at Congress and ambassador was working. Of course it is right by the hospital so I’m sure that explains that.

For those coming back in, three 18 wheelers and a rv are over turned on the i-10 bridge. Dumbasses tried driving over around 930 last night.

They picking them up now. They are west bound in south lane. North lane is passable.

Gonna be a cluster frick though cause diesel is all over the bridge.

I posted this last night but it was probably lost in the gremlin story. Lake Charles Memorial does not have water at least that’s what my brother texted to me last night. He was there working and was quite frustrated that 120 patients hadn’t been evacuated especially after what had happened with Laura.

Vermillion tiger I did see a gas station but I can’t exactly remember where it was that was open. It was near one of the roundabouts off of maybe Ridge Road? It was one of the back roads that I took to Lafayette.

Ridiculous how in 2020 a little wind can still knock out power.
