My power died of covid-19 at 3:20 am. Those last gasp wind gusts got us. Just glad we made it through the storm this time. shite went out pretty quick in Laura.

For those it may concern. Hooper rd from i110 all the way to Sullivan, and then Wax/Magnolia Beach rd to LP line is open, and nothing bad at the moment. Didn't have a working red light the entire way though so be careful at the intersections.

Currently laying in my recliner in the pitch black, naked, trying not to sweat.

You never realize how big the difference bt 70 degrees and 77 degrees is until you try to sleep without power.

Thanks for the heads up, my route but in reverse/ How's the interstate, do you know?

Seems calm out here, hearing a wind gust as I type. Not bad like last night, something woke me overnight (not a crash luckily, just roaring wind gust). Tornado, maybe?

Sucking down a cup of coffee, about to hit the road.

Baton Rouge is in no shape to have a football game. Moving the game was a good idea.

It is amazing what new poles can do.

Entergy if your listening, try something called maintenance and pole inspections/replacement.

Outside on my porch this morning in Sulphur.
From what I can see, over here it’s pretty much debris, tarps and limbs- not too bad.
