If the rain like this holds up in the BR area for the next 36hrs are we looking like another flood?

So at this point in the game is it pretty much set the center of the eye is going to cross somewhere between Iowa and Crowley?

Damn that’s bad for Laffy. Raining like hell here in Maurepas...but no surge yet.

Weirdest shite I’ve seen all year.

NOAA plane mission finished

1st eye drop - 25.2N 93.5W @ 23:34z

final eye drop - 25.9N 93.7W @ 03:59z

during that mission the storm moved +0.7N +0.2W over ~4:30

Of course you would, but, thankfully, that isn't expected whatsoever.

If anyone is looking at the storm and saying "the west side looks worse than the east", it's not. Here's a cross section of the eye. The left is west and right is east side.

Looks like 93.7 is the wall. The buoy is at 93.65 and the center just about passed right over it about 30 minutes ago.

haha is that bingo? the only reason that I asked is bc I have family in Breaux Bridge, who stayed put for this storm and family in BR, that flooded. Both houses caught the covid and all them had to move in with me after the flood

For the stoopid people here, can someone put this in layman's terms? I'm getting the vibe around here that y'all believe that this thing is going to roll in a little further east than currently projected? If so, are we talking a shift of something like 10 miles or 40 miles?

No. That’s a drawing of a friend’s dog (Tucker) that my daughter drew as a gift after he crossed the rainbow bridge.

We left at 6:30 and arrived in West Houston at 11:30 after stopping at the Beaver.

Not a bad haul.
