Curious... in what way? Like less of a NE turn?

I don't know what way, that's why I'm watching the HMON model on Tropical Tidbits to see what it does.

Almost all of the models agree that this storm is going to get as far west as Lake Charles, but they all have it moving NNE to NE after that point, so landfall ends up to the east of LC. That's going to be squirrely to watch.

I want to clarify that I’m no expert but over the year’s of watching these things you would be stupid to not think this storm is going to intensify. This Storm has all the favorable conditions to get back to Major Status. I feel really bad for the Lake Charles area. I pray it doesn’t hit y’all. Just my opinion that the NHC is surprisingly underestimating the strength that this storm can get too. It’s the gulf for Christ sake.

Would tonight or tomorrow be a good time to put my winterguard weed and feed down in my yard?

Thanks, I’ll stand by for any response

Certainly concerning to see the inner core become re-established so quickly after landfall, this time as a more typical size core.

True story - today I filled up a couple propane tanks and bought some weed and feed for the lawn to put down tomorrow morning.
