Agreed. I don't want to wishcast the storm on anyone but there are areas better prepared to take this one than Lake Charles is right now.

At my parents house it was one of the only ones still standing after Laura. That's about 18 miles outside DeRidder.

honestly as long as it isnt some sort of ridiculous surge patterson should be fine on that front. Only places ive ever seen flood there is the neighborhoods behind the train tracks.

Figured it had to be commercial, but those percentages are typically negotiable.

I opted for 3% for homeowners, for example. If he can afford 55k, the higher deductible is the better bet typically.
