Where was all the concern about the Senile Sniffer in Chief and Kamala Knee Pads who thought cloud computing was actually in the sky above us…

I fly into YYZ all of the time. The cross winds there can be pretty bad. Saying that I am not in the least bit worried. Way I figure it chances of another wreck at the same airport are extremely slim.

They didn’t have all of these plane crashes happening under their watch though.

What makes you hornier, 2020 Covid deaths or 2025 plane crashes?

higher speed "no flap" landing.

Yikes.

Winds howling and snow and ice covering everything.

I don’t know range of plane or amount of fuel it had, but unless this isn’t as difficult as it seems to a non-pilot like myself I guess flying from MN to Toronto they didn’t have enough fuel once flap issue was discovered to make it anywhere else with better weather conditions.

Over/Under +15 aviation disasters in Trumps first year in office? Maybe firing everyone at the FAA was a mistake.

Do we count international issues now?

Sniffer didn’t even have a FAA director for over a year during which the FAA system crashed amongst other issues, and the last one checked out as soon as he announced his plans to resign in the middle of December.

Buttigieg went on an extensive family leave soon after he started and was clueless about his department. The FAA’s increased budget went to stuff like
quote:

the FAA's 2023 budget request said it is working with its Office of Civil Rights to implement its first ever plan to "assess its efforts to achieve diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility."

Sniffer trashed more than his daughter.

I’m not an expert in Aeronautics, so I have no clue. All I know is this wasn’t happening under Biden, and in less than a month there have been 8 aviation incidents.

Maybe the Trump administration should take some responsibility?

Do you think that a policy change filters through tens of thousands of people and then their actions change which leads to accidents and all of that happens in a month?

Go on…

Exaggerate much??? I guess the orders have come down to bash Trump and Doge for anything that happens anywhere.

Shortages have existed since Biden even during a large increase in the FAA’s budget.

In December when Biden’s FAA director checked out.
quote:

Head of United Airlines says air traffic controller shortage is a major problem DECEMBER 3, 20246:26 P

quote:

ROSE: For United, the top priority is getting more air traffic controllers on the job. CEO Scott Kirby says there is an ongoing shortage of controllers, which is leading to delays across the country, really. But one place where you can see this clearly is at United's hub in Newark, just outside of New York City. Kirby told me the shortage of controllers for Newark's airspace has been leading to big delays.

SCOTT KIRBY: For the whole month of November, we had over half a million customers that were delayed because of air traffic control shortfalls in Newark alone. It is the biggest issue, the biggest opportunity to make air travel better for customers in the United States.

ROSE: Kirby says the delays in Newark were actually a bit better over this recent Thanksgiving holiday period, and he commends the Federal Aviation Administration for doing the best it can. But Kirby says the FAA is about 3,000 air traffic controllers short of full staffing and just desperately needs more money.

For a plane making crash landing in heavy snow with high cross winds?

In Canada?

Just saw this comment on a story about the crash…

As stupid as this woman is, she’s not as stupid as those in this thread tryin to to blame the crash on Trump.
