re: Delivery Room Workers Explain What Happens When A Baby Clearly Isn’t The Father’s

Years ago I read an article in Playboy where an anonymous poll was taken among new mommies. Anonymous as to hope to get a more accurate assessment...their words. The number was around 10% either didn’t know who the father was or was sure hubby wasn’t. At the end of the article they said it’s believed the number is closer to 20%...assuming several lied. Blew me away as a younger/dumber man.
On another note, I worked with a guy that had an “oops” pregnancy with the wife in his mid 40’s. They already had two children raised and gone...he was ecstatic to be having a baby in the house again.
The eventful day came and he’s in the delivery room waiting for the bundle of joy. Out pops a black baby, problem is they’re white.
I had worked with him for almost 20 years and he was the happiest guy I’d seen. Always smiling and never had a grumpy day. Well the betrayal totally destroyed him...beyond all repair. For the next two years I never once saw a smile on his face. He ended up quitting because he said the embarrassment was just too much. I hope he was somehow able to find happiness again.

10-20% of mothers (unmarried) mothers not sure about father is not surprising.
Are there stat splits for just married mothers? No way it is as high as 10%. Maybe more than 10% cheat, but that's not the same as letting a sideman creampie you while you're off birth control.

It is not the hospital's problem, they are only there to provide for a safe birth, and the health of the child. If the dad suspects an issue with paternity it is a legal problem, not a medical one and should be resolved by the courts as it is now.
The hospital sure as hell involves itself with filling out the birth certificate and acknowledgement of paternity affidavits on the spot, doesn't it? Don't give me that "take it up in the courts" bullshite. A simple test can be performed at birth to ensure the man is informed before he signs that piece of paper locking him in for the next 18 years.

Lol... I don’t blame you and I’m not sure how “accurate” the poll was. I mainly remember being blown away at the chance 20% of new dads may not actually be the dad. This was around late 90’s..iirc.
Same magazine...it’s possible for a woman to have twins from two different men. It’s happened...if she has sex within less than 24 hours with the men their sperm can invade the same egg.

Can the simple test really be performed on the spot? Tell me about this.

I doubt it is as high as 10% for married women. A lot of unwed sluts are surely bringing that % up

And pick better women to get involved with. Sorry your mom had such negative impact on your view of women.

The test is simple. But the results aren't instant.
This is what I meant. The test could be done right there. Results in a few days/weeks are sent to the Office of Vital Records and the man and woman. If it's his, Vital Records slaps his name on the birth certificate and it's done. If it isn't his, no name goes on the birth certificate and he has "X" number of days in which he can sign an affidavit of paternity and take responsibility for someone else's kid if he so wishes. If not, it's the mother's responsibility to go after the biological father to get his name on the birth certificate if she doesn't want to bear the burden of whoring it up on her own.

I have a cousin who is bi-racial. His mom is white, his dad is white. When Jr. came out brown as hell, his mom said "Oh you know, Joe with that Greek blood of his..." That boy wasn't half Greek, he was a chocolate/vanilla swirl.

That’s the definition of a cuckold.
And a bad one. He is being forced to dedicate his resources to something that won’t even further his line. It is against natural law
