The district attorney’s office is hoping he takes this to trial so they can get some good publicity out of this.

There are sociopaths all around us and every once in a while one does something to expose themselves to us.

yeah you gotta be a pretty messed up person to justify this with "owner shouldn't have let it out." I realize its annoying to have a dog wander on your property especially if its making your own dogs go insane but shooting a dog is just fricked up unless its a pitbull.

Golden doodles are the sweetest animals.
I have one and if my neighbor shot him because he walked on his lawn I think I’d snap. He’s a member of my family.

If someone shot my dog id most likely be going to jail. I know it wouldn't be the best thing to do in the long run but I would snap too.

IF he shot the dog in self defense, it would have made more sense to call the cops to report it, rather than taking the dog outback and dumping it in the ditch.

If this is true (big if here) what is the guy to do? He has an inconsiderate neighbor who won’t control his dog, and it’s a persistent nuisance. Assume he’s already complained, and nothing has been done. He could call the authorities and get a citation issued to the owners. But what if he already tried that? Eventually he’d have to do SOMETHING to stop it.
again you don't make the jump from having a citation issued to just up and shooting it. You act like his hand was forced here, the guy is just a prick.
"neighbor's dog got in my yard again, this is kind of annoying...yup gotta shoot it"

The problem is just like the OJ case a decent defense attorney can make a small parish DA look like an idiot.
If they would have chose the civil suit first they would have turned the tables on the alleged shooter of the dog. He would have to prove his innocence and use the evidence in a criminal case.
Now the DA has to collect a lot more evidence and prove he did not shoot the dog in self defense. Unless there is hard evidence an eye witness or video camera of the incident he walking free with a decent defense attorney.

Leave the legal stuff to the attorneys.

Any person that shoots or poisons my dog will be met with the same faith. Angola is not a deterrent for me. I’m too old to f with stupidity.

I am currently dealing with a neighbor letting their dog out and onto my yard.
Never, and I mean never, could I shoot this dog. He’s harmless and is just sniffing around.
you have to be at least mildly sociopathic to walk up and shoot a harmless dog in the head. That is fricking insane.

False! Where did you get your info? His Lab was in heat. Wrigley's Mom let him out to use the restroom. He always comes straight back up the steps and waits by the door. Wrigley is not mean. This was a Premeditated murder. LeBlanc waited for his chance and took it. He feared Wrigley would catch the scent and come over to his home and knock up his dog. Wrigley did exactly that. So LeBlanc Shot him twice. In the chest, and execution style. Then proceeded to hide his crime. For more info. Click the link. Wrigley's Story

Not True. Wrigley was never outside alone. Except for the day of his death. Leblanc's Lab is always lose and still roams the neighborhood to this day. For more information on this case. Wrigley's Story

Keep the dogs body, put it out in a plastic barrel to rot for weeks.
Pay attention to where the neighbor walks around. Get his routine, and one night dig a dead-fall pit about 6 to 9 feet deep. At the bottom have sharpened bamboo coated in the animal's decay.
Punji Stick trap his arse,..and pack a lunch and if you're lucky he will last long enough to where you can sit and rest by the pit and enjoy some of the cries

Wrigley was never outside alone. The first and only time was the day he died. Leblanc's dog was and still is to this day not in the house are on a leash. LeBlanc murdered this dog because he is a sick man. For more on Wrigley's Story. Wrigley's Story

Trust me he has plenty of evidence. He also has a Creditable witness who watched the whole premeditated murder happen. This sick man is going away for 10 years! Wrigley Story Read It!

Yes it will be proven without a doubt he did this because he is a sick indivual! Do you know him? A credible witness came forward. He shot Wrigley from a distance. Then walked up to him on a public road and shot Wrigley in the head. Why did he hide the body if he didnt commit a crime? He's going down, and he's going down hard. You Sir are commenting on something you know nothing about.
