Deer Fly, flick you and the wind you flew in on.

I learned something about deer flies this weekend at work. A deer fly cannot be chased away. It will wait in hiding for the opportune moment to bite. If one of these nasty devils wanders into the same room as you, it will not stop until you kill it.

I’ve noticed more of those aggressive little kamikazes and the walnut sized horseflies this summer.

i know a guy with one of those, they aint worth shite unless you can hold it 12-18" from them at most, and they cost $40

thats good for fun but a serious biting pest requires more direct hands on swatting action

for extra $20 you can get the camo patterns in regular or pink camo

I bought one for my FIL last Christmas. It's fun as hell to use. Kosher salt works best.

This. Was at the beach and them frickers were out pretty bad. It was funny as frick though because if I just stayed next to my brother, they would just attack him. But I grabbed a little stick and started popping those frickers. Was kinda fun for a minute.

Potato gun loaded with rock salt costs half as much and can kill thousands in one shot and remove the wallpaper from my trailer walls.

I love mine, but I'm not trying to mess with a deer or horse fly with it. I tested it on a wasp once and had to scamper back to the house to avoid the pissed off spawn of Satan.

Endless fun for flies, though.

did he ever try using play sand?

i just always wondered how it was a good thing to have salt being spread all throughout the house like that

Unless you have an indoor infestation, the occasional 6-12 salt particles spread across the house isn't going to be an issue.

I do most of my killing in the backyard.

Outside of trailer parks, people usually don't have too many flies inside their houses.

The gun is used outside.

the thing is with the a-salt gun is you can pop them frickers behind window blinds, or even on them. you can kill them in the tightest places.

I’ve wanted that bug-a-salt toy for a while, but using it at work would be problematic.

If you want to get rid of flies, take a bowl, fill it up halfway with water and put saran wrap over the bowl.

It's also great for child discipline.

The way to kill thousands of flies is to hit an Ethiopian in the face with a skillet.

Then let it sit. The reflection the water creates off of the saran wrap is a fly repellent.

It's good to do when eating boiled crawfish outside.
