CST is -6 hours to UTC, when we hit daylight savings and move an hour forward to daylight time (CDT) we are now -5 hours to UTC

some of the models take some time to update online past the run time listed on them

Same. I want a foot of snow and this morning's models are hinting at that possibility for my area. I'm loving it.

The models have just become so damn precise, what is the difference in the NAM and the 3k NAM, there is a significant difference in the two. I am looking for any reason to cling to hope of a couple inches of snow in Alexandria.

Even the NWS blend of models model shows the BR area with 5" of snow. That's pretty significant and everything I'm reading indicates they won't be surprised at all if some spots get around 10 inches. Just depends on where that heaviest band sets up.
