Just got the official office closure email from work but I still need to go get some stuff done. Assuming the roads will be good around 9:30-10

scariest part of my drive this morning was driving under all the big oak trees near downtown Lake Charles. Once I got to the I-10 bridge it was smooth sailing.

west. both directions of i10 at the bridge had a steady stream of traffic. 210, as of 0530, was still hard barricaded off in both directions.

I heard Terrebonne was closing off leaky parts of its system because they could not handle all of the breaks and people running water. You might be in that area where there is a break or not enough pressure.

I remember last year when the Lockport water plant had a water main rupture. It cut off all water south of about US 90. They had their guys in the rain digging and trenching for several hours to fix the valve.

If I am not mistaken, it was right after a cold snap.

What's next an early spring low pressure system in the Gulf of America?

The roads in Baton Rouge yesterday afternoon around 3:00-4:00pm were pretty much good unless you were on a road heavily covered by trees (I avoided Highland).

Some bridges were closed like the overpass on Siegen. I assume by 9:00 or 10:00am this morning the roads will look about the same as they did at that time yesterday.
