Still a bunch of snow on the ground. It'll be here a while.

Crap glad you said this, i haven't checked mine in a bit since it was above freezing.

Can expect that over next 2 days as different breaks start thawing out and showing themselves.

Almost all exposed snow melted today but still supposed to get down to 21 tonight. 27 tomorrow. 25 Friday night. Still gotta be careful on the road late night and early morning.

The roads should have improved vastly today with the full sun blast all day. Will refreeze tonight of course but should massively improve again tomorrow.

One more. This was yesterday while the snow was coming down. No jacket. Bawette.

Alright I’m sick of this cold. My heater can barely keep up.

The New Orleans snow is going to turn into a sheet of ice overnight. Walking in the city today was a nightmare enough as is.

Lots of melting on the street with the vehicle traffic

Not enough melting on my east facing roof though

I have a stubborn patch of ice on a part of the driveway that refuses to melt, maybe tomorrow
the neighborhood streets are pretty good to go

Crocs ‘n socks with a bathrobe

That’s my style on a cold night, but I don’t walk outside in the daylight for my neighbors to see.

New Orleans received more snow in one day than some New Jersey cities received all winter, according to NJ dot com.

New Orleans doubled Anchorage, AK snowfall total from this whole winter just yesterday.

Anchorage has gotten 3.8 inches since Dec. 21

Seeing Kenner at 8” and Metairie at 10”

Fox8 just called the official total at 8”. There was a two day storm in the 1800s that had 10 inches at Audubon but that was over two days.

In my completely useless opinion … I’m calling it as 10” in New Orleans. And the snowiest single day in New Orleans ever.

Certainly felt like a foot in some spots in the city last night.
