More like the state preventing him from doing what he really wanted to be doing in killing women made him lose whatever was left of his mind. People talk about places having a certain energy, and death row at Angola had an energy I don’t really want to experience again.

I remember this one...

quote:

Oct. 10 2003 death of Corey Domingue, a 19-year-old chemical engineering sophomore.

Investigators said Domingue died of alcohol poisoning. In an Oct. 14, 2003 Reveille story, Baton Rouge Police Department Cpl. Don Kelly said Domingue reportedly drank a fifth of rum in just a few hours' time. According to ATC records, Domingue got his fake ID from one of the six men who were arrested. Don Moreau, East Baton Rouge district attorney, said the six men who were arrested are not facing charges in Domingue's death, and he was unsure whether charges in the death will be pursued. Domingue used the fake ID at the Winn Dixie at the corner of Burbank Drive and Lee Drive to purchase the alcohol that eventually led to his death. Domingue used a Texas driver's license although he lived in Baton Rouge and was a Franklin, La. native.

quote:

Authorities estimated the six suspects made at least hundreds, if not thousands, of fake IDs and charged from $100 to $200 per ID.

Reveille article

The DTL murders stand out the most to me. What happened to Charlotte Pace is pure evil. That is a young woman’s worst nightmare. I remember the anxious vibe around campus during this time.

Really was a shame. LSU football may quite possibly wouldn’t have stayed in the basement for that long if Rein was able to plant his footprint.

That was a Theta Psi back in the early Eighties or late 70's. I was there during that but just don't remember the year.

It was fall of 79 if I remember correctly. A group of pledges were crossing River Road and he got hit by a car. Don't remember his name but I remember it was big news back then.

Charlotte Murray-Pace.

That waste of a human Derrick Todd Lee should have been put down instead of dying of heart issues in prison.

Carl Otis Trimble
Don Redden
Mike Miley
Eric Andolsek
Toby Caston
Pistol Pete
Bo Rein
Ralph Norwood
Marquise Hill

LSU has seen more than its share of tragedy over the years.
