I know right...monuments are gone but all of the generational wealth is still there. The benefactors of slavery will continue living their lavish lifestyles as will their future generations.

It's really about something that had nothing to do with race becoming a race issue. And just because someone made it a race issue people came out of the woodwork claiming they were always offended. Now millions of dollars are being spent to remove statues that have caused zero problems. It's about wasted time and effort. Have you been to New Orleans lately? The city is complete shite. Roads are a wreck. Murder sky high. NOTHING has been done to fix any problems. NOTHING. Yet somehow we can assemble resources to remove statues? Do you live in New Orleans? If so how can you look at yourself in the mirror and say what you're saying?

Mitch has been basically worthless and his political career was likely going no where. He saw an opportunity to be known for something and went for it.
He's getting heat locally but being painted as a great white hero nationally. Landrieus always look out for #1

This needs to happen ASAP. MLK was known to beat and cheat on his wife. As someone who knows someone who knows someone who knew a guy that beat his ole lady, I am appalled by this type of behavior.
