Anyone have any experience with really terrible clients/customers who are complete unreasonable dickholes? Treat you and your other emplyees like d*cks, but their business is important to your company, so you put up with it?

Do you just say "yes sir, you are correct" and then "get f*cked" when they turn around. Or not put up with it to begin with?

Everyone that works in an office that relies on clients has those type. Every place I've worked has fired clients once they crossed a line.

Stop fricking up the drive thru orders and we’ll stop being assholes.

It's not applicable to every situation, but I'd show them the door if it's a constant. At some point enough is enough.

Yea I don’t respect them, I have customers in the past I’ll quit working for. Most assholes are trying too hard to be assholes, their boss or mom walks in and they turn into a lil bitch, it’s all fake. It’s easier to be nice than to be a gay douche

I’ve definitely had to fire customers. Some people aren’t worth it.

My old job we had our biggest customer that would pull bullshite moves like taking a 10% discount on truckloads of materials after receiving them, find completely bogus reasons to bitch and get us in town for visits just to demand fancy dinners from us, and other shitty stuff. We finally got a big enough customer base that we could survive the hit of losing him and sued him after he refused to pay or return a 250k piece of equipment. Luckily for everyone the holding company fired him after finding out that he had been fricking every vendor they had over and pocketing the money.

I love a good quitting story and good client firing story.

If anyone done both same day, I’d like to hear.

I’ve been in sales my entire adult life. I learned quickly, set the tone early on or be prepared to be walked on. If you allow an inch most folks will want a mile. Some push back is necessary in any relationship, not just professional ones.

I used to work in sales. We'd get the "customer is always right" folks on a daily basis.

Towards the end when I didn't give a frick I started treating customers exactly the way they treated me. Several threatened to get me fired which never happened. One lady who was being a total bitch told me I had to treat her with respect no matter what. I told her that respect is a 2-way street and she got pissed

I never got fired or even talked to. I think my bosses were happy someone was standing up to the Karens.

Eta: I gave one lady my lowest possible quote and she told me "well I refuse to pay full price so you're gonna have to do better."

"Ma'am that's the lowest price I can do"

"No it isn't. I WANT a lower price."

"Well there are plenty of other companies out there you can try one of them"

She had a fricking shite fit and it was all I could do to keep from laughing.
