Wife just got a used vehicle in that range. Used vehicles are the best. The only items on the sheet are negotiated price, money down, TTL.

No etching, armor coating, tire service, destination fee, fee for a fee, fee fi fo.

I'm less than 10 months till my truck is paid off

I'll just keep that $426 payment and put it in savings for a new truck down the road

I have a 2008 Lexus convertible with only 65k that I bought new. I'd love to get a new truck but it's hard to justify when there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car and all I've done is get oil changes every 6 months, bought 3 batteries, and changed the tires twice (about 1k miles ago).

72k for a gas burning pickup truck is insane. Oh and please finance it for 6 years just to get your payments down to $900-1k a month.

These auto manufacturers/dealers have lost their minds. I'm legit thinking about driving my 2018 silverado till it costs more to fix than its worth, and then buying the cheapest model 3 long range I can find.

They have to find some way to pay for these insane EV mandates.

Hard to justify 130k on a Z06 especially with ZR1 coming out. I’m also realizing that I care less about speed and more about comfort

Toyota has 2.99% for 72 on their website for all Tundra trim levels

Full size sales must be lagging because they’re only doing 5.99% for 72 on Tacomas

I can’t justify paying a car note that’s more than I pay for housing… I’ll go used whenever I decide to get another vehicle.

My 2012 Tacoma is still going strong. I’d like to trade in for new but don’t want no 4 cyl. turbo shite.

I'll likely be buying another one for my youngest kid before too long. We gave her a pretty old car to start out with. It still runs fine but it's the annoying stuff that's been breaking on it the last year or two (power window motors, a/c compressor etc).

I'm mostly just tired of shelling out 1k randomly every few months on it. She'll definitely be getting a used one though and that'll be the last one dad provides.

Auto industry may tank. They have screwed the consumer and people aren't buying. Stellantis will be the first to go. There is a lot of anger at Stellantis.

People don't even have to be angry with the manufacturers for some to tank.

Dealers skinned too many of the sheep they relied upon shearing every three to four years. The combination of markups (because of limited inventory) and banks allowing too many loans to go through that normally shouldn't means fewer than normal customers can buy when they're badly upside down on their trade in value.

There's only so many people with the money to afford cars double the cost of the average take home salary.

So why would you get a GMC or Chevy?
