Id like to see the pictures of the boats involved as gruesome as that may sound.

How many were on the planeing boat? When it went airborne, it's amazing more weren't killed on impact.

Looks like Jason Chiasson will spend at the very least 6 years in prison if I am understanding this correctly. It was also said that he had gotten a DUI the week before, and he had a child in his vehicle.

quote:

Vehicular homicide brings a $2,000 to $15,000 fine and five to 15 years in jail for each offense of which at least three years will be served without the benefit of probation, parole or benefit of suspension of sentence. First-degree vehicular negligent injury carries up to a $2,000 fine and five years in jail for each offense.

IF this is true, there is no penalty too harsh for his actions in the boating accident.

It's Louisiana so it will depend on how much money he has and is his family connected to any political family.

You know how it works

UWK searched Jason Chaisson’s criminal history in Livingston Parish and discovered a previous DWI arrest from April 30, 2023. During that incident, Chaisson was nearly twice the legal limit when he was arrested for his first-offense DWI. In the earlier case, Chaisson was accused of speeding and weaving in and out of his lane on Hwy. 43 in Springfield, Livingston Parish, just before 1 a.m. After a traffic stop, the responding deputy reported smelling alcohol from the vehicle and noticing that Chaisson’s speech was slurred. Chaisson was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and improper lane usage. His blood alcohol content was found to be 0.154, nearly twice the legal limit of 0.08 in Louisiana. Chaisson pleaded not guilty to the charges, and that case is still ongoing in the Livingston Parish court system.

If they ring the bell on that 2nd offense in Livingston and charge him with 3rd offense here, likely more than 6 years. Seem to remember that the minimum on 3rd is stiff. Plus the sentencing report won’t be positive.

He actually looks like a gay bear who’s fricked a few buttholes in his lifetime.

Looks like a total dick. I’m sensing a jacked up truck doing a wheelie with tires sticking way out the fenders.

I just saw the same thing and came here to see if anyone had posted it.

Does anyone know how much his bond was? I did a quick google search and didn't find anything.

Also, that guy is a very rough looking 34 year old.
