I had to take out a copperhead today. It was right against the side of the house, so it had to go. All others, kings, rats, racers are welcome to hang around.

Ain't no moccasin. Rat snake would be correct. Put the head in a jar with formaldehyde so you can compare next time. I actually shooed one out of the way when I mowed on Saturday. About a four foot beauty.

I took out a snake with a shovel once - took about 3 blows to get it's head off - I still feel kinda bad for not getting it on the first shot.
