Luckily, I have a medical card. So I probably won't be shopping at a dispensary very often once I harvest.

I keep meaning to try to grow some, but then I take a few tokes off of some 30%+ shite that I spend 22 bucks an eighth on and I say frick it.

Hummmm. Maybe try Gary Johnson. Who is in favor of legalization.

Sorry, gary johnson is an idiot. Im not voting for someone just because they want to legalize weed. I definitely will never support someone that supports black lives matter.

Yeah. After buying a few ounces for $80, i almost lost my motivation. But I've been wanting to do this for years. I had my dad ready to grow in Florida a decade ago. But my sister was crazy and fricked up enough, that she'd have gotten mad and snitched on us. We were ready to build a secret room out if an extra bedroom closet. But my dad chickened out at this last minute.

But I couldn't blame him, he had too much to risk, and could afford all the good stuff he wanted.

I hate our government.

Go to a bar, get shite faced on tequila, then Drink a bottle of vodka, smoke a pack of cigarettes and some fake meth weed, drink a bottle of cough syrup, take a pack of Sudafeds, puke in the street, fall asleep in the neighbors yard, shite my pants, drink another bottle of vodka, smoke another pack of cigarettes, drink 6 monsters, 3 redbulls, drink a few more bottles of cough syrup, drink another bottle of tequila, smoke another pack of fake meth weed proven to kill people, eat 19 pounds of lard, die of alcohol and whatever else poisoning.

All legal. All extremely harmful, all with a high chance of harming others as well as myself. Can do it every night until I die without legal repercussions.

Smoke some weed in my own house.

Impossible to over dose, completely safe, impossible to harm others, completely illegal. Getting caught smoking weed once can lead to jail time, criminal conviction, and ruining your life.

Scientifically study how the active ingredient in a marijuana plant may help glaucoma and cancer patients?

Illegal.

Use one of the world's most resilient, easy to grow, quick to farm, renewable, strong, and durable plants to make commercial lumber stronger than trees, plastics less polluting than petroleum, or oils, textiles, fabrics, etc....

Illegal.

I don't think it's legal to shite your pants.

Oh it's legal. It's just frowned upon.

Just like binge drinking, cigarette smoking, cough syrup chugging, government subsidized pill addictions, etc...

These very serious problems have more to do with our racial demographic than the fact that we choose to keep marijuana illegal.

Now you're just coming off as a hypocrite. I'd love for you to explain what you mean between these posts.

When people out West try to call the South racist, I put them in their place. But I also realize things that have happened in southern politics that have led to too many problems in the black community. Things are now beginning to become equal, particularly in education and getting close to equal within the criminal justice system.

So please, explain what you mean.

Forget the pro/con weed arguments, just take a step back and realize that an agency that exists and is funded because of controlled substances is also the agency that determines whether something should be a controlled substance or not. That is fking broken.

Then the same agency tells a bold face lie to justify the stance. How in the world can you in 2016 make an argument at all that marijuana has no medical purpose? You don't even have to get into whether or not it should be legal to realize that this move was the move of a completely inept and broken system.

Between this country's entitlement movement, BLM shaming, the 2 catastrophic candidates we are presented with on both sides, and this DEA ineptitude, I really find myself hating my country for the first time in my life; and that's a fkn shame. Is it fixable without a complete breakdown? I honestly don't know.

Yeah, I'd like some of that sun grown stuff you've been growing. It's probably in my head but it seems like something is missing with all this indoor stuff. I miss that Humboldt/Mendicino county stuff we used to smoke in California in the 90s.

Yeah. That's fricking insane. And one of many example of why our government is one the if not the most corrupt and fricked up systems in the first world.

I unfortunately think the answer is no. No politician has the balls to stand up to the system. It's just going to get worse until there's some sort of revolution. You can only tax the upperclass and frick the middle class for so long. Eventually, something's got to give.

Cultures using cannabis timeline

Pretty interesting that a natural occurring plant that has been successfully documented as aiding in a variety of illness for THOUSANDS OF YEARS, suddenly became demonized in only the past 100 years. The U.S. had cannabis in almost every medicine prescribed from 1776 to the early 1900s.

Seed bearing herbs are specifically mentioned as given by God & being "good" in the first chapter in Genesis in the bible as well.

Anyone who has a hardline stance against cannabis in this day and age either has an interest in privatized prison profits, pharmaceutical industries, the judicial system, or work in some type of upper level of law enforcement.

These people are not for the people - they are for their own self interests, and in the end history will judge them as such as willful deniers of relief from human suffering

MUCH better chance with Trump than Hillary at legalizing weed.

I think it's less about indoor/outdoor, and more about the grow medium(soil/coco/hydro/etc). Hydro supposedly doesn't have as much flavor as something grown in soil or what's called soilless, coco, peat, and other non soil grow mediums.

I can't say for sure, since that's just what people have told.

I will say, I haven't had a great tasting bag of sour diesel since moving to Colorado. Wherever else I got it from, be it Nola or Asheville, it was like candy. It tasted so good, I would always smoke too much. But every batch I've tried around here has been bland tasting. Definitely not the flavor I remember.

You are naive if you don't think Obama has the power to make this happen.

My point is that you shitlibs love to make the GOP the boogeyman on this issue when its more of a big gov issue

Go frick yourself for trying to turn this it a political board style thread. This an issue that isn't about liberal or conservative. People on all sides of the spectrum are against this prohibition. Both parties have made the government bigger.

There's a thread down stairs on this. I know, I posted in it.

They are waiting for Big Tobacco to get a huge foothold in the weed growing business before they decriminalize it.
