Should have stuck with simple burglary. Armed robbery gets you 30 yrs mandatory 1st offense. Dude likely gets life on the farm.

Sure. I went to high school with a fella that committed armed robbery at a gas station in mandeville. He’s serving 30 no probation. 1st offense with no priors. He really was a good guy in his younger days. His uncle was a local cop who raised him after his dad died.
This guy is a repeat offender who broke parole and brandished a firearm during a robbery...allegedly. I’d bet he gets life.

Some people can't hack it on the outside. They would lose face with other inmates if they admitted it and refused early release, so they do something to get rearrested asap.
