Wow, that is at Gilley's in July. That place was always a sauna near the stage.
I had the best of times and the worst of times in Pasadena at Gilley's when I was a kid.

He always sounds better on 8 track than he does live

I saw him three times in the early 80’s at the Texas Club. Saw is a relative term. Halfway thru his first song he kicked out the footlights, turned over an amp and left the stage to a near riot in one show. He wasnt as drunk and pretty solid for another, and I dont remember a damn thing for the third but Im sure I had a fricking blast.
I was under 18 for all three shows.
Good times.

That was the best I’ve heard him sound,
I played the DAC “ please come to Boston” in the car with my old man 25 years ago and he told me the Loggins version was better.

David Allan Coe sucks donkey dick live and you will hate him if you ever have the misfortune of paying to see him ‘sing’ in person.

His bootleg tapes would give a whole new meaning to cancel culture.

This is amazing
My old band opened for Gov Mule back in the 90s. I tried to get Warren to sign a zig zag, but he refused.

Warren Haynes got his start playing guitar in DAC’s band when he was around 18-19 years old,

At Robert E. Lee's or the Double Deuce?
Posted on 12/12/21 at 9:52 am to GS3
I saw him at Double Deuces in Hammond 20+ years ago. Was the most miserable "concert" I've ever been to. He made them turn off the a/c for some fricktard reason. He came out drunk with a fresh bottle of Jack Daniel's, mumbled some shite and called it a concert.
