What if she turns out to be the most pleasing wife ever?

Not pleasing to the eyes, your logic fails.

Would any of that offset the weight?

You don't marry em fat baw, you gotta get them in their prime, do some calculations, and figure out if you're cool with what she's going to look like after 3 kids.

Terrible idea. The swipe is 99% picture driven. Nobody wants matches on personality, it's all about looks for the initial impression.

Getting hideous AI matches will kill the app

I haven’t been on dating apps in a couple years. But you used to could do ok with Hinge. And seemed to be a little classier women than Bumble or Tinder. Tinder had basically turned into POF from back in the day- fats, tats, CNA’s and phlebotomists

Never used a dating app in my life. I have been married for 17 years and in that relationship for 20 years.

They shouldn’t be needed. People need to talk to each other.

Good lord get off dating apps. Go out where women are in public and just approach them and talk. It’s not hard.

All the other women who are wife material are on Hinge, not Bumble. (Your location may vary)

My wife and I met on Hinge last year. I was only on the app for a day before we match. I like the app better than the others

Facebook dating is the easiest
No limits on likes or matches, no money, and can send a message to anyone before you match

Perfect. We’ve finally eliminated the last bit of human interaction from dating. Soon your AI assistant will date somebody else’s AI assistant, and after six months of algorithmic romance, you’ll get a push notification saying, “Congratulations, we found you a divorced dental hygienist with three kids and a pit bull.”

How are we to cope with this brave new world which undermines the basic premises of our intimate life? The ultimate solution would be, of course, to push a vibrator into the Stamina Training Unit, turn them both on and leave all the fun to this ideal couple, with us, the two real human partners, sitting at a nearby table, drinking tea and calmly enjoying the fact that, without great effort, we have fulfilled our duty to enjoy.
