No lunch, just got back from the dentist getting all the damage fixed caused by the chemo over the last two years. Happy as can be that I can smile and talk again without being super self conscious about it, had to wait a year after all that crap i went through to get that done.

Dentist told me it's not too often he gets a happy patient like that.

honestly that is awesome

My Auntie recently passed during chemo, part of bulk of the issue was how bad it burned her mouth and esophagus

ETA: but you may end up unemployed if you get too pretty of a smile. Pretty sure methmouth is a prerequisite. The more you favor a jack o lantern the more employable

I love me some pho

You can make it more filling with tofu

Green curry not hot at all, very bummed (middle eastern)

Red peppers, first from last years garden from the freezer. Just put 1 in and I am sweating full bore. Shower definite after lunch.

That sucks man, and yeah the cisplatin did a number on me. Bad case of thrush during the first rounds, that's when the dental damage started. It got accelerated when I went through the stem cell transplants. I'm definitely not an anti-dentite, did a great job.

I decided to wok from home today since I was going to be leaving early to head to a black tie dinner tonight. Just took a break to have an english mufffin with peanut butter.

Horsemeat, keep getting better!
SS, sorry about your Auntie.

Not sure how you use a wok to make this?

Did you deep fry it in the wok Elvis style?

Iona, did you go to Iona?

If so, did they have a prep school associated with similar name?

Aspy, have you thought of doing a sitcom about Ken & Scotty?

Seems it would be better than most of the stuff on TV now.

Solo.

It's an organization of lawyers of which I was president back in the late 90s. The year I was president our guest was Mr. Justice Thomas. I sat next to him at dinner and had a delightful time. He's a brilliant and very personable gentleman.

Back then we made a big night of it and a group of us would end up closing down the bars in Georgetown. Tonight I expect to be home and in bed by midnight.
