I was staying on a boat in a lake Union once, kinda got turned around, drunk walked across the Aurora Bridge one night and ended up there.

For some real horrific shite look up the video from the saudi crane collapse several years ago.

Would you have stopped and helped or taken a right turn and beat the craziness?
There were enough people around, I would have probably taken a right turn personally.

not really, just think the incident took place in the perfect city. The city deserves any bad thing that happens there. My only regret it didn't happen during one of their famous Antifa rallies.

Probably the fact the video shows folks getting cut in half, and shows the pile of bodies.

doesn't take much at all.

Francis Gary Powers flying a U2 spy plane was shot down at the edge of space by the Soviets and survived, but was killed piloting a traffic helicopter in Los Angeles.

I had a 1600 ton ringer on a job site once. Took over a month to assemble and like 100 trucks.
The hurricane plan was for operator to ride out in the cab and point it into the wind since we couldn’t lay it down...
Thankfully no hurricanes that summer.

i watched on my phone earlier and didn't catch that it was a tower crane that they were disassembling. thought it was a MK140 or something. yes, a 35mph gust shouldve had 0 effect on it. the investigation will be very juicy

most cranes are rated for 25mph, that's not very strong. not sure what that one was rated for. just read in another article that there was a 35mph gust at the time of collapse
