I think Jim Nasium set the course for my career doing that thing. I’d love to find my 5th grade mixes, ripe with Ugly Kid Joe and Toni Tone Tony cuts.

I'm fairly certain he did radio play-by-play for LSU basketball in the late 70's for a year or two, sometime after Dick Walcot and some time before Hawthorne, I think Larry Matson did it for a year or two in that general time period as well.

I remember that song playing on J.R.'s show - not sure who sang it though. He was on a few different local stations back in the '80s.
