To be honest, there isn’t much (if any) difference.

I did it plenty. You just didnt like the answers.

Feel free to start your own thread about why I'm wrong. Maybe in the meantime we could actually get back to talking about the poscast.

What kind of results will I get if I type in EarlyCurler3’s thoughts on the political spectrum?

No need. It's on glaring display here.

Who was the most authoritarian AND left wing president in the 20th century?

Very well, I’m for as limited government as conceivably possible. I’m for a complete cut in all federal government agencies. Yes that means the FBI, CIA, NSA, DOE (both meanings, education and energy), HHS, HUD, etc. I’m for the abolishment of the 16th and 17th amendments. I’m for an overhaul of the 14th amendment. I’m for the complete cut of Social Security, Medicaid, all food stamps, and no nationalized insurance of any kind.

I’m for the complete shrinking of government in all aspects.

I want the government out of my life as much as possible. I believe full heartedly that government is not the solution to our problems; but that government is the problem.

Now, show me yours.

Go find out. I doubt you'd understand it though.

I'd like for you to explain to me how I'm a statist and globalist. Let's see if you can answer that. Since you claim to be able to understand and defend your position. You words, not mine.

Youre an idiot with a superiority complex. That leads me to believe you fall on the left side of the spectrum.

I agree. Although I'd argue that the government in its limited capacity should focus more on helping those in need as opposed to financing the war on terror and drugs on both sides. Which conflicts in part with this:

quote:

I’m for the complete cut of Social Security, Medicaid, all food stamps, and no nationalized insurance of any kind.

The medical field is going to be hard to deal with in any way at this point. The costs are just too high to sustain.

And I think that none of those things are going to be solved by a vote. We're way past that point.

I tend to like some anarchism ideals while realizing that government has done some good, in spite of its inherent intrusion on personal liberty. It's hard to balance in the age of globalization.

Example A of the poor logic you use. Couldn't come up with a better example myself.

Thanks for the hardcore history link. I’ll check it out. I’ve never listened to Dan Carlin although I’ve certainly heard he’s great.

Yeah, I figured out of all that I posted, you simpletons would latch on to that single statement. I made it anyway. Saying limited government should aim towards helping is not socialism, but I wouldn't expect you to understand that.

Now show your beliefs. Or are you a pussy?

Thats exactly what it is. You use the word “helping” to wrap your shite ideology into a nice little package that sounds good to children and women

Why? How’d we ever get so far without the government’s help? Government is not a charity program. It’s just that, government. If you cut SS, Medicare, etc. how much more productive of a populous would we have. We are, right now, financing people to be leeches. We are financing people to be as lazy as possible.

I agree that the war on terror needs to take a big step back. And the war on drugs needs to be ended. Waste of taxpayers’ dime.

quote:

The medical field is going to be hard to deal with in any way at this point. The costs are just too high to sustain.

One or two things regarding that. If the government wasn’t subsidizing lazy people’s healthcare, the prices wouldn’t be as high and people would be healthier. It is pretty funny to me how once Medicare and Medicaid came along, we became the fattest country on earth.

And I think that none of those things are going to be solved by a vote. We're way past that point.

I agree, if Rand and Ron Paul won’t hammer at it, then it might not be feasible. With a vote, that is.

Also, as for the 2A, any time the government, via fiat or otherwise, bans something (like bump stocks or suppressors most recently) is a direct assault on the amendment itself and should be fought tooth and nail. The NFA, Gun Control Act of 68, and the Firearms Owner Protection Act, especially, are direct assaults on our second amendment and need to be overturned.
