So you know she is hormonal cause of her period yet you decide this is still a good time to pick a minor argument.

When will you men ever learn?

Seriously though...I can say as a woman that there really are times that your hormones just take over and get the best of you.

Case in point...I was so easily ticked off last weekend cause of hormones. I went to a gas station to fill up. My husband in the jeep with me. Gas station was packed....was about to grab an empty pump and another car zoomed in and took it right in front of me. I got so frustrated and pissed off in the moment that instead of just waiting...I drove a couple blocks up the road to another gas station . My husband looking at me like "WTF is wrong with you".

Pick your battles is all I'm saying. Will save you stress in the long run.

This sounds like every annoying situation I get in with my wife except you played the role of my wife in this scenario. Why are you sitting there arguing with someone in a pissy mood about a shirt? WGAF just do what you want with it and don’t bring it up in the first place.

Oh I agree. I did what I normally do when doing laundry not even thinking in that moment about the repercussions of what I was about to do.

It was a dumbass move

Knowing it's her time of month, you should have just left it there.

She walks in laundry room.

Me... How you feeling?

Her... Terrible

Me... Sorry babe. Well I did the laundry so no worries there. Here is the last piece.
Hand her the last shirt from the dryer on a hanger. LSU t-shirt. Slightly damp...

Her... Just leave it. It can dry all the way.

Me... Well if you want it to dry quickly you should just put it on. Because your smoking hot body will dry it in no time.

Then profit with sex.

True.

But I've learned lately that women don't actually want you to listen. When you listen to them nag or complain or stress, it reinforces their negative feelings. This leads to an inaccessible, cranky wife who will absolutely not put out after that.

When your wife is stressed and wanting to talk about a problem*, minimize the problem by being extra flirty and aloof. Turn it into a joke. Make her laugh. Don't be an a-hole. Redirect her focus to positivity.

I think that's the ticket, but who the hell knows.

*Problem being typical whiney woman shite like annoyed by a coworker or aggravated about laundry or a MIL issue. Not actual problems that need to be discussed.

Try doing your wife instead of the laundry next time, and don’t sweat the small stuff. If this makes your wife insufferable, consider yourself fortunate.

So you did a chore for her and decided to tell her to do it a different way than she does and surprised she got angry?

You stupid, babe

Not sure why dryer time is regarded as such a commodity that you couldn’t leave it in while you were hanging stuff.

Especially as you fricked up by overloading it in the first place.

I really don't see a problem here with the way she interacted with you.

I would hate it if I walked into a part of my house, whilst feeling shitty and my SO gave me some shite to do when I wasn't looking to go hang a shirt or whatever.

Also, what is the big deal about leaving the shirt to hang in the laundry room? Why does she have to go hang her shirt where you're telling her to when leaving it to dry in the laundry room is a perfectly viable option?

It actually sounds like you're being the bitch.

This is a daily occurrence:

Me: [solution]

Woman: no I want to just be mad

This. I realized I was doing this last night. Just walked away and everything was fine. It's very hard to realize that's what's going on fiir some reason.

The other one is when the woman asks how something should be done. She doesn't really want your opinion, she wants affirmation that hers is right. In my case, we would do it differently 80% of the time, so unless i know what she plans to do, I'm SOL. Ive told her not to ask unless she wants an answer.
