Anybody have any damage to homes, vehicles, etc? Location?

Had a massive limb fall last night around 3am that busted the wind shield of my truck and plunged straight through the cowl between the windshield and hood. Bent my hood in an inch or two but no big dents. ETA. Missed my living room by maybe 10 feet. Was a hell of a crash to hear and walk outside to
Monroe area
ETA2. Part of the branch was hanging from my power line to the house. Never lost powered and managed to cut it into pieces and got it off the line without losing power. No telling how long until they fixed that with winds and rain still fairly steady

There was a guy somewhere around Minden a couple of years ago who had a tree fall on him while he was sitting in his truck in his driveway. Someone found him days later when they went to check on him.

Similar thing happened to my neighbor but apparently I was the only one that heard. It only speared his windshield though.

crazy I literally thought in bed last night “if one of the 10 trees around my house fell just right, I’d die” then bam, 8in wide branch impales the hood of my truck 30 feet from where I’m sleeping.
It could’ve been me

Top of neighbors tree was knocked out and broke a couple boards off my back fence. Haven’t seen a whole lot of damage.

Our house is fine no flood and still got elec. Sadly our pomegranate tree leaned way over. We had it braced but it bent the pole over. It is full of ripening fruit and poms are heavy may have caused it. Soon as the rain passes it's off to Lowes for a sterner pole and some straping hopefully we can save it.

I drove around WBR parish to access to damage. Many places has some leaves and twigs on the ground. The sugarcane was slightly leaning. The streets were wet. My yard received much needed rain. The End.

For the New Orleans residents, we need one like this for Barry --

Perhaps with a "DAMN YOU, GLOBAL WARM...ER, I MEAN CLIMATE CHANGE!"

I lost 2 sections of fence. It was 14 years old and starting to rot, knew it was coming.
