I think the poster means that once things become expensive they are often overrun by educated people, and then somehow section 8 housing because you can’t have a liberal stronghold without section 8 housing.
We have a wall already in DFW. It's called I-30.

Ex. American Airlines hired roughly 1000 pilots last year, none of them were based here. DFW “jobs” per se, and contribute to the stats, but not much impact on local economy.
Toyota and Liberty Mutual moving their Headquarters to Collin County had a major impact on housing prices. Those employees relocated and purchased homes in the area, most from California, paying above asking for homes.

pointed that out in a previous post, artificial boon stat to the economy as above companies in many cases are paying closing costs on both ends, moving, temporary leasing, etc., good for the economy, just sort of artificially inflated stats

That market is coming down now. You stil find the same house that sold in 2009 for 215k listed for 325k though.
There are master built communities that are empty right now.

Those people are living here buying goods, paying taxes which directly impacts the local economy.

Are you looking closer to 380 or 121? Lets start there
We were looking at homes in the The Trail Golf Course and at stuff closer to downtown.
Do you live in Frisco?

No I technically live in Plano, but spend almost every weekend in the Frisco/McKinney area due to GF family living up that way. We are wanting to purchase a house in the Craig Ranch area or surrounding area. Craig Ranch essentially is the border of Frisco/McKinney.
The area you are looking at is top notch though. Toyota Stadium is right there as well as the Dallas Star (if you like the cowbaws). There's also the local triple A baseball team there too. Plenty of things to do which include The Shops at Legacy which is literally 7 min away.
You buy a house where you are looking, you will never be bored.
