That is sad. I hope they find it.

Has it been confirmed it was even donated? Wonder if someone at the nursing home copped it.

Post said it was already sold.

Translation: Some Goodwill employee copped it.

There was a Goodwill employee who had a flea market booth. I always wondered if he took the good stuff to sell it at his booth. I donated a toy train to Goodwill and it showed up for sale at his booth.

If TD can’t find this jacket, I think we should go ahead and close up shop. If this board can find a murderer and a lost homeless brother 1500 miles away with no form of communication device, they can find a local jacket.

hope you find it. Is it normal for a nursing home to dispose of belongs? I figured the family would take everything.

No it’s not normal at all

The Goodwill store I drop stuff at has a pile of clothes in the back. The pile has to be 10 feet high at times.

Goodwill will throw stuff away without even checking it in, if they are backlogged.

I remember the homeless brother thread, but which one was the murderer?

Good luck getting someone who shops at Goodwill to give it back.

Also, did you know Goodwill is 0% charity? It’s a business with a clever name and is NOT a charity.

I'd assume an employee saw it and wanted it. Took it and said they gave it to goodwill.

Unfortunately you are probably correct. Lots of theft in nursing homes.

Really hope they find that. Classic. If it was donated to Goodwill, that is 100% in someone's closet that works there. No way they put that on the rack.

Why don't brands make things like that anymore? Such nice, classic designs.

Selling shite you get for free has got to be the best “business” model ever.

And the CEO makes around half a mil each year. I'd say that's the easiest job on the planet.

That’s a cool jacket. Where can I buy one similar?
