The wife is a big Costco Fan and I prefer Sams. Long story short, we have not physically been inside Costco in probably 15mo (order online thru Instacart and only for the items not available at Sams). Costco HAS ALWAYS been really strict on masks and Sams never really has been.
I would assume others have made the same switch knowing the Sams/Costco carry a lot of the same stuff.

All you have to do is look at data with places without mandates and they are on almost identical curves as anywhere with them.

Sams you can buy everything w/o interacting with ANYONE. SAMS Scan and Go app is the greatest invention. Sorry you missing out. Enjoy your mask and waiting outside of Costco to get in. Costco had Sams beat in customer service. That ended with the scan and go all and pandemic solidified the win.
