Has anyone stayed here and if so would it be a good place to stay for a few months (Jan/Feb)?

Curious if you are just looking for good RV places along the LA Gulf Coast or if you just want to stay in this area? FTR I don’t have anything I can share on the place in Berwick.

In that area, there is also Cypress Bayou Casino in Charenton. They have a RV park.

Thought this was going to be another installment of random Instagram locations.

Disappointed

I am looking to go somewhere to escape the brutal NW Arkansas winters without traveling to Gulf Coast Alabama, Florida or deep Texas. Being I was born and raised in Louisiana I figured this would be more fun being in Cajun country.

There is nothing in berwick that could be called a resort.

Sounds like you aren't settled on the specific area of Berwick. So you should check out Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville RV Park in Henderson. Formerly Cajun Palms.

Relief might be the better sentiment in this case.

This could be a good spot. It did get real cold for a few days there, but it warmed right back up. I had
four days of below zero temperatures a week ago. We did really enjoy it when we stayed there before. Will the small snack bar be open in the winter? Also did they finish up the construction there? It was a nightmare when we were there last.

Me and my circle of friends go there every year for the Jambalaya cookoff. We make a weekend out of it. It's a fun place, and we have a blast. The people there are very nice.

I would look at Lake End in Morgan City before Berwick.

Have a boat?

Get a spot at Lake End Park in Morgan City and you can go back to NW with a freezer full if catfish filets.

We have recently gotten into camping and our favorite spot so far is Paradise Ranch in Tylertown, MS. May not be far enough south for you, but I would give it a look.

I grew up in Patterson. I know the people that own that spot (or at least used to). I dont have anything against them personally, theyre fine, but I'd probably look elsewhere lake lake end if your hell bent on st mary parish. Hideaway ponds in gibson i think is supposed to be on the nicer side.

That would be great being I love catfish. I was born in Louisiana, but I am allergic to shellfish.
