I only bought seed for my garden yesterday, so no regrets.

BUT I still regret buying a fricking Instant Pot when Amazon had them on sale several months ago. I used it once and it has been collecting dust since then.

So basically this thread was made to brag about spending $1500 on electronics?

Bought some new running shoes, magazines and ammo, bunch of fishing stuff, and some Christmas presents. Did I need any of that? Of course not.

PS4 and 3 games.

I'm not sure if I regret it yet, but I think I got a good deal.

It can always be returned.

It was over the weekend and not last night, but I accidentally bought the movie Central Intelligence with the one click on Amazon. I very much regret this, although it was only like $8.

Nothing for myself. Michael Kors bag, wallet, and jewelry for the wife; new headphones, clothes, Uggs, and phone accessories for my girls, and toys and new bedding for the log cabin toddler bed I'm building for my 4 yr old son.

I am almost completely done shopping for Christmas after black Friday and Cyber Monday sales and I never had to step foot in a mall, and that is worth a lot.

I go through a fleshlight every 2 weeks. With winter coming I probably didn't need the extra 4.

I think the exact fatwallet tag line back in the day was "I'm going broke saving money."

I almost bought an Amazon Dot since it was on sale for $39.99. even actually purchased it, but then cancelled order. $40 is nothing, but I just kept imagining all the other crap I'd want to buy like Hue bulbs, wifi plugs & switches, new Thermostat etc and figured I don't really need that Dot

It'll be $39.99 again someday or a better one will come out and home automation stuff will get cheaper. I can wait.

I bought a new amp and cab for $3000+, I didn't save shite and only halfway bragged on the MB.

Bought my mom a kitchen aid mixer pro 600 though, for $300.

I would have to agree that the sales were absolute shite and there was absolutely nothing that screamed to me that I have to have it.

Yeah, I talked myself into and out of 3 big ticket items before realizing I was just buying something because it's on sale, not because it is anything I actually need.

I think Amazon and other discount online retailers are going to take some of the shine off of the deals as we move forward. You could have bought an Instapot for like $60 off, but Amazon has that sale 5+ times a year. Nothing overwhelming by any means.
