I do, but I have my barbers license. Wife handles the back of my neck because that's hard to mess up

I shave my own face and back, so why shouldn't I cut my own hair. It's okay if it looks like shite because I wear a cap most of the time anyway.

Does anyone on here cut their own hair? I'm contemplating it. I get it buzzed, usually number 2
I use #1.

I've been cutting my own hair for 15 years. Got tired of having to keep telling barbers to cut more off and still not get enough cut. I cut mine to 3/4" on top and taper sides and back. I get my wife to check the back when I'm finished and shave my back neck.

yes. I have done it.

once you choose buzz cut, you can't mess up.

I have an electric gadget, just like in the barber shop. several lengths.
even a little brush and comb and scissors.

just remember the scene in Demi Moore Navy Seal movie.
She feels it as she is cutting.
you can do it. save that money.

I haven't paid for a haircut in over 15 years. I just hit my head with clippers and the #1 guard every two weeks.

I wish I could shave my own head but I look horrible, pay $40 for a good quality cut cause I have no choice and she does a good job...

No happy ending though...

I've never paid for a haircut. It gets easier every year too as there is less and less to do.

Yes. I have a professional cordless Wahl available for around $60 on amazon. I use the 1.5 guard and a hand held mirror for the neckline

I've cut my own for over 20 years now. Although the wife has done it a couple times. You guys only paying $15 for a cut, is that with tip? I'm guessing not.

$15? I pay $40 every 2 1/2 weeks for a haircut. I'm pretty OCD and I don't want my shite getting fricked up though

I've cut my own for years - can't remember the last time I went to a barber.

Once a week everything from the shoulders up gets buzzed as close as my trimmer will cut.
