Been cutting my hair for almost 15 years. Scissors only.
I wear my hair longer than most

Buzz my head with no guard and cordless clippers once a week in the yard with a handheld mirror. Finish it up in front of a mirror inside to get any spots I missed outside. Cuts down on the cleanup doing the majority of the work outside.

Been buzzing my own hair for about 20 years now going all the way back to high school. I use a number 2 also and get my wife to trim the back of my neck. My current trimmer is a $7 Sunbeam I bought from Walmart during my college days. It works better than a few $20 I had purchased before then.

No. I'm lucky to have a full head of hair because based on how it feels when I shampoo it would look like the surface of the moon if I buzzed it.

i do.... it's relatively easy, and i used to like doing it, but lately i find it's become just another chore that I have to do...
