a lawnmower in my neighbor's yard would absolutely wake me up...I am a very light sleeper...

Hire some messicans to do it for you, tell them they can't start until 11am. Problem solved.

As soon as it's light enough to see.

My old golfing buddy played golf on a Saturday and afterwards joined a poker game that lasted until 4:30am. He got home around 5:00am and sat on the bed.
As he was taking off his shoes his wife woke and asked if he was just getting home. His reply was he was getting dressed to go cut the grass before the heat set in.
He said his neighbors have been giving him dirty looks ever since.

If it's a really hot day, any time is okay. If it's not a hot day, 8:00 or 9:00 is fair game.

Would suck to let a wife treat you like a child.

Cut mine yesterday and since then my nose is like a waterfall and I want to rip my eyeballs out of my skull. Allergies I guess, which is new for me. Anybody deal with this? How do you defend against it? I've never really been an allergy guy before.

Take one of those otc allergy medicines. Allegra, Claritin, etc every morning. I work outdoors and that's what I do this time of year.

I cut my grass, washed both my vehicles, put some stuff in my truck to take to the dump and took a dump so far this morning.

I'm working nights tonight and get off at 330... Probably have the mower going around 5, and that's really just to give me some daylight.
