Never bothered me...like, not even a twitch registers when I hear it. I think it's more offensive in Euro countries, where they really dog you if you aren't pure. I don't think anyone cares here. It's like how you can say "bitch" on network TV now.

I've never meant any negative connotation when I've used it. It's just a descriptor.

Not like I'm saying "half-breed" or "mud-blood" or something that's supposed to be insulting.

As I would expect. That would be incredibly disrespectful. But mulatto isn't any more "offensive" than black or white in my mind.

I know at least a dozen mulatto people that describe themselves as such...

I absolutely don't think it's anything but a descriptor of mixed race with a specific distinction...

Obviously doctor's prescribing pain pills is the culprit.

Police knew she was on drugs. They need to pay dearly.

Do you have a substance abuse background?

If not, then they're no big deal. I've had a couple of surgeries where I was prescribed pain pills...no issues.

I've gotten them for pain at several different points. Low grade stuff like hydrocodones though.

They helped some but never made me feel "good".

Now dilaudid in the hospital...that was some good shite.

I had some leftover Lortabs after wisdom tooth extraction that I had some "fun" with. Got awfully close to trying to get some more... no telling what could have happened had I done it. That shite is scary good.

I've never been a pain meds guy, but after my mom died I drank to the point where my pancreas almost exploded. The pain was so bad I could barely answer the staff's questions. They shot some dilaudid in me and the pain disappeared immediately. I could see why some people get addicted to opiates.
