How old is Jill? I've noticed that a lot of old ladies who learn how to start texting and using social media and smartphones end up on that shite nonstop. Sharing all kinds of dumb shite and liking/commenting on every single post in their FB feed. Maybe Jill is one of these kinds of old ladies.

Exactly. It's possible that they're working at somewhat different times too, so they have to get their quality time in one way or the other.

when they leave the office.

bring it to an end.

let there be no doubt. NO MAS.

no apologies.

thus it is, thus it shall be.

if she says he is my confidant, she ends all contact with him, even at work.
She finds women she can trust, and if it requires that she goes to therapy to deal with her Oedipal relationship with her mother, so f'ing be it.

she is too close to the situation. she trusts her husband. she submits. end of discussion.

I would be worried if my wife felt it appropriate to tell me she has a weakness for older men.

"Worried" is probably not the right word. I would assume that anyone who said such a thing had a specific older man in mind.

If Bill is married to Phil, then Jill's innie should be a complete nonstarter.
