Currently in NOLA. It’s time. And it’s not ready.

Hhmmm, I guess a good thing is I haven’t noticed the bums as I’ve concentrated on dodging the broken sidewalks and uncovered meter boxes along the way.

Haven’t hit the quarter yet. Those 8 blocks I hope are pristine (at least from an “everything is fixed and working” standpoint. No expectations on visuals or smell.)

The eyes of the world focused on my beloved city this week?

It's as ready as it's going to get. Enjoy it.

2 weeks from now it goes back to what it used to be.

That is your argument?

The rest of the city is worse.

Did you think it was going to magically not be a shithole because the Super Bowl is coming?

Last time I drove down Poydras, the suspension in my truck took a beating. I’m assuming they’ll fix that for the Superbowl, then let the street deteriorate for years again.

Well there’s your mistake. You thought New Orleans would do something positive.
