if one aspect of cultural appropriation is , Caucasian women wearing braids, then why isn't it cultural appropriation for women of color to straighten their hair ?

There is no such thing.

Culture, almost by definition, is an amalgamation of influences both from without and within.

There's no cultural appropriation. There's just culture, which is always in flux.

It’s all about whose the “victim.” White people can never be victims with the exception of women who are “victims” with a few exceptions. For example men competing against women in sports is ok because men who identify as women “deserve” greater protections. It’s really a fricked up way of looking at things!

I know you already know this answer, but the funny part is that white people were actually the first people to dread their hair.

because white people aren't allowed to own culture. Didn't you get the memo? you cant even own your origin, you're just white.

I was unaware that all white women have straight hair and that all black women have curly hair. The more you know.

All women should be forced to go topless to avoid this conflict.
