Nothing screams fun like being on a ship for a week with a bunch of kids...

It’s not remotely like this, the kids have families, there are more adults than kids. Plenty of adult activities and enough stuff for kids to do for adults to have a good time.

I would get in trouble on cruises since I’d just assume the women are maids and the men are butlers.

I've heard that Norway is closing off access to cruise ships to some of it's most majestic fjords over "environmental concerns". That's a box I would like to check off.

That’s the next one we are considering. Seabourn has one that leaves out of Dover and returns to Dover.

On a Disney cruise now and having a great time. My kid is entertained. Wife (no pics) is entertained. I’m entertained. Food is excellent. Entertainment has been great.

The only bad part of the trip is the shore excursions in Nassau and that was because they mixed in a bunch of Carnival trash in our group.

Do they have any racially segregated cruises? These would pique my interest. In our hearts, we all know we want to be with our own kind. They'd be happier and we'd be happier...

Seems like a winner to me.

I don’t get off the boat there. It’s a good time to enjoy the pool and whatnot with lighter crowds.

Not Carnival I would do a luxury cruise but something likehell no

Yep my wife (sadly deceased) and I took a Carnival cruise probably 10 yrs ago and it was fine. If you Google "Carnival Cruise Getto Crowd" you'd see what has happened. They lowered their costs and it opened the door for thousands of people that don't normally cruise and some of the fights, loud RAP music, etc. have taken over so much that their usual customer's have given up on them....now, Carnival is trying to cover their tracks and of course, the "Racist" word towards the cruise line is big time now..Even a lot of Black vlogers are critical of the "Hood Crowd" destroying it.LINK

Taking one to Alaska and the wife and I have reached the idea of a northern Europe cruise. I'd much rather pick my destinations, but in both of those cases, if I didn't do the cruise, I probably wouldn't just travel there on my own.

I have no desire to take a cruise, nor does my wife. But my older sister loves them so to each their own I guess.

Ole Tom is a pretty good actor, and Nelson used to be my favorite Ranger.

The pools are too small, the food sucks because its all you can eat, and all of the fat asses pile up their plates. So you know they're not going to serve good pricier food. Limited time at destinations, nothing to view on sailing days but empty ocean. Gale force winds on the top deck that blow towels and anything else away. Yep not for me.

I've been on 28 cruises and greatly enjoyed all but the first one. It was too "new" for me.

If you don't have fun on a cruise, it's your own fault

Expand your horizons. Not all cruises are like this
