Most people find a sticking point on back fatigue around there. That's just a ton of deadlifts with some heavy weight. With step ups this is my type of workout. If I could do quick box jumps I could easily get close to finishing the 315 round.

Not doing the open but I did 14.3 Friday night and finished with 120
I can dig it

I got 104, but definitely think I can break into the 110+ range. Going to retry Monday.

My back's gonna be cussing me the next few days. I can go heavy on DLs, max over 400#, but my 41 y/o back can't handle going fast with them. Just got over having sciatica due to a pulled muscle in lwr back about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I shouldn't be doing the DLs for speed, but had to see how I compare to you young bucks. Not good...
Just did 14.3. Got 85
Last 18 months I've been doing CrossFit routines about 75% of my workouts at an Anytime Fitness
Didn't even try the first 2 rounds due to shoulders that won't allow OHS, and still can't do snatches for shite

I def can hold my own, but could be better.

Saw you got 104. I was hoping for 100, but the severe tightness and pain on the right side of my back wouldn't allow it. I MAY try this one again later in the week.
We're about the same stats. I'm 5'9", 205#.
I always say "the true sign of age is that recovery and recuperation time take longer and longer as the years go by".
Also, "youth is a state of mind"

24 hrs later and my back is feeling pretty tight from 14.3. And they say DLs are supposed to be all hamstrings.

Did 14.3, got 93 reps. Could have gotten a few more but had some trouble when going from 155 to 185. My goal was to get at least one rep at 185 and I got 3, I'll take it

My hamstrings are tight too
I got 2 reps at 315. I had about 15 seconds and I sprinted to barbell threw on two tens each side and knocked out two. Weight wasn't even pushed all the way in. Easily could have fell

I got 139 reps. I really bitched out on the 315 deads though. I got to them at 5:57 and only got 9 reps. Just didn't pace well and had nothing left, oh well

Wish I could so crossfit ever since I tore my pec and bicep I can no longer do toes to bars or knees to elbows. Each time I try it feels like my muscle is going to tear again

Debating if I want to try it again today.

Did anyone do 14.4 or did we just give up on this thread?
I did 14.4 yesterday and got 170, I wanted 181 and had about 4 minutes left when I got to the cleans but just couldn't catch my breath.

My goal on 14.4 was 181. I got 180 on the first try and couldn't get a muscle up after finishing the cleans with a minute left. Did it again today and got the one muscle up for a 181. Satisfied with it...that was a tough workout.
